whatever the transparent material no one in industry R&D today found the same mechanical property of metal even NASA or Aeroapatial.i mean the strengh but also the bending tolerance shock absorbing ability....etc
if there is that magical material i'm not in mechanical bisiness anymore

Well, I have seen this and was about to pay for it but thought that it would never be strong enough to compare to metals, though am not a mechanical engineer. But I like the looks and benefit of seeng the oil level, oil statsu and gears status...
Moral of story, nooooooo not for use, but maybe for show off in a showroom or display a locker function etc.
