Machine prerequsite

Hi; we just joined and before we dig deeper into the courses and trips i just wanted to make sure if my Yukon Denali 2009 (AWD) would be suitable to get into the groups ? Thanks

Welcome to the club & your 2nd family

with regards to your Yukon (AWD) unfortunately this car would only be good for on road only and you would need to have a proper 4WD car.

I had a Tahoe 2008 before but having hi & low gear. It was good for easy Newbie trips (although you might hit your bumpers) but not for higher levels. I would advise you as well to get a proper (light weight) 4x4 car if you want to have fun.

Hi all and thanks for the quick replies. I do use it for some limited dune driving but nothing aggressive. I did get your messages loud and clear. Thanks a lot. I will shop around for a proper 4x4 soon as we really love going offroad.
