Hello Everybody,
I am Andi and new to the club. Have been in Abu Dhabi for a while and to the desert a few times. I can get attested that my driving skill is lacking though. Looking forward to the ANIT and more newbie trips. See you soon.

Re: To all new members
Hi guys/gals,
My name's Tristan but my friends call me Kit
I'm from the UK and have a history of toyota hilux's (I actually have three back home) , landrovers (Defender 110) and range rovers (RRC)
I have lived in Dubai for two years but moved down in January for new job, i'm just getting around to buying a car now. I did try to get a V8 Defender but sadly there are few and the ones that are here have not been well kept
So I have settled on a Nissan Titan crew cab as I really like the size (people drive crazy here! plus I want to get back into motox), engine and aftermarket parts. I just need to buy one now but I am viewing one today and possibly another.
So hopefully you'll see me in the flesh soon

Re: To all new members
Hi All,
Been reading a lot of topics here for a couple of days.. Very informative and structured.
As an Introduction, I have moved back to UAE (after spending half my life growing up here in AD ) from Doha, Qatar. Was a part of ME4x4.com group in Qatar and did quite a few trips with the Veterans there where i learnt my basic off-roading and recovery skills.
Previously Owned a 2005 Pathfinder (R50), pretty much stock with just the K&N air intake... Now...Got myself a 2014 XTerra (Not Off-road), yes i had to compromise on the Diff-Locks but the even more stiffer off-road suspensions did not sound comfortable on the tarmac which i would be using for most of the time... Not planning on any mods at the moment, expect for good skid plates for now and a steel bumper and lights may be a little later ? Any advise, otherwise ??
And before i forget, special thanks to Grizzly for letting me ride with him tomorrow as this is gonna be my first trip in my new wheels.. Looking fwd to it
See ya all soon !!!
Cheers!!

Hello Everyone,
I am not Shy. I've dove in head first all mixed up with dino and dave. Troublemakers ( ) I will join in on some of these trips as soon as I get a free weekend.
I will do my best to get involved in assisting with tech questions whenever i can. I have a background in automotive and have built a car or two. My last 4X4 was a Toyota 4runner in the US which had a 3.0 with a bad head ( common as well). This is my first Jeep and still getting to know the Nuances of the Chrypar.
