Brings back happy memories:

1. VW Beetle 1972 1300 engine which took 2 stroke fuel - the same as used in lawnmowers. Sadly lost in a head-to-head accident with a Mercedes!

2. Volvo - not sure make or model but hated it! It was canary yellow and I was glad to sell it.

3. Selection of crappy cars such as an old Chevvy, an old Rover etc - all bought very cheaply and then either sold or scrapped after a few months.

4. Toyota Yaris 1L which was fab for zipping around in and parking in London in. Loved this car and had it from new. Sold it to buy ....

5. Mazda RX8 - with full options and I loved this car, especially on long drives. It was so smooth, but sold it for a

6. Toyota Hilux double cab which was great for the bad roads of Scotland and my first experience of using 4H and 4L gears.

7. Ford Explorer bought second hand in Dubai and finally to my beloved

8. Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara which I simply love :D

Oh, first set of wheels was my trike, followed by roller skates and then the coolest bike in the world - a Raleigh Chopper!!

heh, my first car was also a Twingo. Still remember driving it on the beaches of Denmark and getting stuck. Sure enough, a few nice guys on the beach were friendly enough to literally (!) lift the car from the sand, walk about 5 meter to harder sand and i happily continued my trip. Can still hear the mechanic wondering during the next service: "how did all that sand get into the engine space???   "
