Are you tired of day advance dunes trips
Are you tired of getting stuck in the sand
Are you tired of sand
Lack of newbie trips
Lack of using your new tents and that BBQ grill, and wanting to show off your BBQ skills
OR just want to relax on the Enjoy your favourite drink over a big bornefire. mmmmmm Mash melow
Then here is you chance
Join me on thurday 18/1/07 aftrernoon say after working hours around 3:30 for a camping trip on the Mountain enclaves.
Another change to enjoy the mountain view before the sunset.
If you can make it them Lets Do It.

Hi Jo
The camp I use is located between the lower hajar mountain about 60 or 80 km from Buraimi. way point
N24 38.904 E56 03.446
Yes I agree that the weather at night can be very cold. In this area Iahve not yet recorded but will not go below 10C.
A good camp fire and a good sleeping bag will do the trick.

Where do yo wanna go?
Cu, Jo
I have been to Jabal Akhdar myself quite a number of times.. I must say it surely is an awesome place. THe last time I been there the temp in my car showed me 2Centi and on the side it was written ICE
Seriously be it OMAN once again and Jabal Akhdar I am surely up for it... But as Mpenzi said, a good tent with sleeping bags will do the trick..

Mpenzi, I have seen the spot on Google Earth and I know the desert patch about 10km east. These mountains have always been tempting...
How long do you want to stay? Only one night? My problem is having meetings on thursday afternoon makes it impossible staying already thuresday night (you will not postpone to friday?).
Tks
Jo
