I've just realised that the brake pads on my wife's Volvo have completely gone and are starting to groove the discs. I'm reluctant to drive it further than I have to in order to get them replaced.
Can any of you good folks recommend the nearest place to Khalifa City A I can get them looked at? Volvo Service can't deal with it until Sunday, and meanwhile I've had to hand over my FJ for school runs duties...
Many thanks
Brake service near Khalifa City A?

Re: Brake service near Khalifa City A?
Khalifa City A is a no hoper for mech work, nothing available.
The car has to be taken to mussafah, whether it be on the back of a truck or otherwise.
I do have an option, but am opening myself up to attack here:
If the truck option is out of the question i would drive it to mussafah during the quiet hours (midnight to 3a.m.) and be a bit light on the accellerator, using the gears to slow it down. This should be undertaken with extreme caution and preferably with a friendly vehicle up front to lead you slowly. All of this on the condition that the car actually does stop when the brakes are applied!!!!
If u need any assistance, give me a call

Sorry, but the only solution i see :
- recovery truck,
- Volvo Workshop.
I'm sure you won't be able to find any pads for Volvo in Mussafah, + you're not sure where they will be coming from...
Until then, enjoy the taxi!

:iagree: Unless you know how to change them yourself and try in the city at a parts shop. Behind Madinat Zayed gold souq is usually the best option. Good luck.
