[quote="dj112"] i was driving around 150kms [quote]
First of all I would like to say that I am so sorry to hear that people get killed in accidents and especially when someone we know and care about is involved and I also would like to give my condolences of course.
In most accidents though it is the speed (see the quote) that is the dangerous thing and when something happens you have no margins in high speeds. 150 km/h is far more than allowed.
More than this - Use seatbelts also in the backseat and especially kids should be wearing them all the time and be placed in a proper chair intended for kids (depending on age). It is a law in most European countries that people in the backseat should wear their seatbelts too. If you crash several tons will be hitting you as a driver from behind and your seatbelt will break and you will be crushed too. Keep the distance to the car in front of you (3 second rule!!!)
I try to stay calm on the roads even though it is very hard sometimes when idiots drive too fast, too close and going slalom between all the cars on the highway.
I just want to be safe while moving from A to B and hope that all of you are the same.
Take care!!
Don't speed.

Sad, did read that story in the newspaper and thought to myself how did someone end up crashing into the subway? Now I know.
My sincere condolences.
Strangely, I had a very similar experience on Friday, on my way from Dubai for Mike's trip.
I was driving a bit erratically, cause I missed an exit for the Abu Dhabi airport road, and I was driving on the last lane a bit faster than recommended, trying to catch the next exit quickly as possible. And booooom this blue AD corolla came right in front of me and braked really hard. I didn't think much of it then, but come to think of it now, I may have ticked this guy off because I was going full steam in the last lane. I don't know! :dontknow:
