Absolute Newbie - Morning in Sweihan

Jo, Martin & Nessie, Tweety and I meet at 5.20 in Sweihan for an Absolute Newbie drive. After the Newbie instruction for Martin we started one hour later with a “warm up” section. A cool morning with only 25 °C on the thermometer and soft, veeery soft sand were the significant parameters.

Martin did very well and we decided for a drive to Al Nahel Town. After a 4 hour trip through challenging dunes with tricky spots broken by sabkahs we reached Al Nahel town safe and sound.

I enjoyed an interesting trip (the last one before summer holidays for Chico & Tweety and Nessie & Martin) with a nice “breakfast and chat” stop.

I was sleeping till now after coming home at 12:20 from the trip. Getting up early and driving through the Dubai fog to Sweihan was wearth it. The cool temperature, the visibility and the virgin-sand.....

Marty, your FJ is babtised now. You will never get the sand out again
