Sunrise in Sweihan - Trip report

Oh what a trip.

With only one “sleeping exemption” 5 cars left the meeting point almost on time. An on road break of dawn drive brought us to Sweihan and after a short pit stop we reached the deflation point. We lost Bulldozer only for a short moment.

A short convoy – a short briefing and here we went. An easy start but soft sand changed to more challenging higher dunes and uuuups……

Nessie experienced an “engine problem” and couldn’t start the car anymore. After some technical recoveries, the deserved coffee break we towed her (yes she WAS sitting inside the car) out to the Sweihan pertrol station and a recovery truck “transferred” the Jeep to Musaffah.

It was a short drive but excellent (AD4x4 manner) company and we were back to civilisation @ 11am as planned.

Nessie I hope your car will be ready for the sand soon.
