Early Bird Al Fathya - Advanced trip report by Khaiwi

I would like to thank you all who have promptly responded to the short notice trip announcement and showed up early morning.

A total of 7 cars met to reach the deflation point by 7am hitting the soft sands of Al Fathya under the extreme heat..... A quick and quiet drive with as little as a couple of stucks.

Lovely advanced drive with some spice when we changed our direction to drive against the sand dunes slip-faces on the way out. I was really glad to see you all drive crossing the advanced track.

As the heat was increasing we decided to call it a day about 10am inflate the tires and head back to Abu Dhabi.

A great trip with a bunch of great drivers and absolutely very nice people to be around.

A Great drive with a great group of friends. Thanks Khaiwi for leading us into the great hot soft sands of Al Fathya.

Being the only LR in amongst the Jeeps I did not know if I was the Rose amongst the Thorns or vice versa

The trickiest part of the whole drive was the re-inflation point, where my LR on hard tyres did not perform like advertised on TV.

Thanks Arbab for the trip it was great day but we miss Yehia this time we enjoyed the rout and my Pax Prada Enjoyed too where it was the 1st time for her to feel the difference between New Bie and Advance .............
