Everyone arrived on time and deflated. We had a safety briefing and split into two convoys. Shiroy took the more experienced drivers, and I took the rest.

And Marshal EmDoc was watching us all.

We started on the west side of the gatch road giving everyone a good warm up and practicing side sloping the smaller dunes. We had a few second attempts, but everyone was doing well so we crossed back over the gatch in search of bigger dunes. We took a couple of breaks and reminded everyone to not fight gravity and turn down if they started drifting. We enjoyed the afternoon side sloping our wat towards the east. With only an hour left in the trip we had one vehicle with mechanical issues. Marshal Michale escorted him back to the gatch and the rest of us continued. We ended up the day with two vehicles getting stuck and several second attempts. We all arrived back at the inflation point on time and signed logbooks. A few of us joined Marshal Octopus for a BBQ and camping.
