To me Nahel is one of my favorite areas to drive in due to the clean big spaces and the soft sand texture it has.

Advance 101 planned in Nahel, everyone was on time except myself; arrived couple of minutes late. Briefing and deflation done, we took off with a very big convoy that consisted of 10 cars. As it is a tough task to manage anything as such, we had to two sweepers keeping an eye on the convoy; Calvin officially sweeping the back; and Andrei being the last advance leading the intermediate members making sure they are connected with the convoy. This method worked really well.

We had lots of 2nd tries and few recoveries; of which two of them were mine. Perfectly recovered by Samir who was my 2nd lead.

As we approached toward sunset we head back to the gatch that lead us to the starting point.

Well done everyone. We have few maneuvers that we need to work on that will keep us looking better as we officially enter the advance level.

It was a perfect drive for me , i have learned a alot especially how to approach high and short crest safely. I recommend to repeat this trip frequently.

Perfect intro to advance level for the aspiring intermediates. Mustafa drives are special treat, if you haven't tried it then you're missing out. Plenty of challenges and great pacing for the conditions and skills in the convoy and everyone made it out safely. Come back soon, Mustafa!

Thanks Mustafa for organising the trip and for the several invaluable advices about side cresting, all spot on for me. It was amusing/thrilling to have a taste on the advanced level drive - I can’t wait to apply for it!

Couldn't agree more! Amazing location and great drive. It was my first Advanced 101 drive and wow what a thrill is was. It was also my first time driving in 4L, which has changed my driving and skills. We didn't waste any time and started to attack the dunes with force.
