Al Qoa'a with camping

To test the weather for camping 3 of us drove to the borders of umm Zamool and al Qoa'a and on Friday night set up camp. It was very pleasant indeed. Definitely more camping to come.

The following morning joined by the others we set off in search of fun in the dunes. With a fine mix of high speed climbs, crests, and technical areas the morning did not disappoint. After about 3 or so hours of driving we responded to a rescue request and set off north to help another group in difficulty.

Following lunch we decided to plot a new path homewards across from the north of Wagan to Bu tais exploring some new dune ranges.

We arrived at our inflation around 6 pm happy and with a feeling of accomplishment.

Everyone drove well admirably playing their part in the events of the day.

A well spend camp time and a beautiful morning drive …. Really enjoyed and would have missed out if I couldn’t join.
