With a cool wind blowing, all drivers gathered bright and early ready for the adventures of the day. Upon deciding convoy order we set off on what would be a sweeping rollercoaster of a drive from Khazna to Sweihan West.

After careening up and down the slopes on our way to the 'border' of the two regions we then entered and rode around as many bowls as we could find until time ran out. With summer deterring many drivers, the sands were clean and beckoned us to leave our tracks and mark a truly great morning out.

With no stucks and only second tries, the intermediates all showed skill development and a growing recognition of what to do and not do when driving at pace. Special mention goes to Vipandas who drove very well showing readiness for the next level.

As always, a big thanks to the support given by the advance, expert and marshal drivers who joined. These trips are a success only because of the team effort by all.
