The weather is becoming warmer every weekend, so it is highly advisable to start as early as possible as it really becomes very annoying by 9:00am.
Safety briefing was done by 7:00am and we entered the desert by 7:05am as planned. The sand was surprisingly free of tracks, even at the beginning, and thats due to the strong wind thats been hitting the desert since yesterday, and due to the less convoys in the area. Therefore, we had so much fun as we passed through the technical areas finding our way to the big dunes, where we had double and triple switches where possible and had amazing runs connecting dunes with each other.
As we reached super bowl, unfortunately one of the jeeps had a breakdown forcing us to end the trip and leaving from the nearest exit.
I had a super team today full of experienced drivers:
Mustafa
Kayo; 2nd lead. Come more often brother
Moh’d haddad: superb driving today
Bou Seif: king of the desert
Engin: sweeper. Happy to bounce into you again my friend. Thanks for the support and recovery today.
All in all, trip was soooo beautiful and pushed our adrenaline levels up. Looking forward to next one folks.
