Advance in Sweihan - Saturday Trip Report

Met on time at the deflation point with Thomas, Michael and Mohammed Jobara who registered in the morning.
Had our briefing where we talked about the different sand conditions as a result of the rain. Explained my plan to start the first 10 minutes as a newbie track, then another 10 minutes as an intermediate track, then all the way to advance.
20 minutes in, we were hit by strong wind and some rain, visibility was very bad, so we slowed it down. We were then lucky that the visibility cleared in few minutes later, so I pushed the pace and started climbing over the crests.
We reached deep in Sweihan in dunes where there was no other tracks. It was beautiful to drive on them without worrying about the bumps..
Unfortunately Michael had to leave us around 10:30 with a simple car issue.
The remaining three drivers played a bit more then headed back.
In the trip we were lucky to meet a gazelle/Dhabi, Camels, and a big yellow grasshopper who decided to jump on my face and leg while I was taking the crest from side to side
We had few stucks, Thomas did all recoveries.
Headed out at 11:30
