Newbies Fun Times 21.02.2020

All met at the meting point on time, except three registrants who didn't show up or call for cancellation (in future either you cancel your trip registration or inform the trip leader that you will not be able to make it).

Marshal Yehia joined us at the meeting point, thanks for this wonderful surprise.
We started off easy and slow, then picked up some speed on our way into the dunes. Since every one started gaining confidence I increased the level one notch up. On our way we came across a tricky bowl,were the Jimmny couldn't make it out & we had to winch it. By the time the Jimmny was out it was 5:30 pm, so we called it a day and headed back out before it becomes dark.

We reached the BBQ spot where we met the intermediate convoy, after signing the logbooks some members decided to leave while the rest stayed for the BBQ & chitchat.

We had a lot of fun specially when we were recovering the Jimmny.
All drivers did very well, keep it up guys & girls.

Thanks Pharaoh for leading and organizing this trip. ANIT track with mix of Newbie /ANIT drivers; enjoyed great company and afternoon drive. The drivers were de-briefed during the short breaks by Marshals based on their observations during the drive. However, I would like to mention few observations :
1. Parking and deflation on road at Sweihan BBQ point obstructs flow of traffic. It becomes dangerous sometimes for drivers and kids due to speeding vehicles.

2. First timers/ANIT experienced difficulty in finding the way out from BBQ pt ( those who did not join BBQ).
