Newbies Fun in Sweihan 24-1-2020

We all met on time in Sweihan wedding hall and headed towards the deflation point in one big convoy. Thanks for those who informed me that they will be late, was a little disappointed that some cars didn't show up without even informing.

We had our briefing focusing on the main safety issues, explained the basic skills need for the level (anit briefing was conducted by our safety Marshal, thanks Adiga) and then we started our journey among the dunes. Though it was a long convoy, yet everyone maintained their position and did really well which allowed me to increase the pace a bit. Convoy was set having Thomas as my second lead and ended up with him being an expert in strategic parking
Thanks Thomas for being a solid second lead. Christos was the official sweeper and Kamran was following the convoy to ensure everyone was safe and on the same track. Marshal Khiwi and Ahmed Omar were watching the sides of the convoy. We had a couple of second tries and only one stuck. We bashed the dunes and had a couple of coffee breaks and group photos. All the drivers did really well. We finished the trip at 5:30 pm where most of us stayed for a delicious dinner and a nice gathering.
Was a great day. Special thanks to the support team for all their efforts.
