Report: Newbie Trip - 2019/2020 Season Opening Party

We all met as planned at the Al Faya Petrol station. There were a few extra drivers that joined the Newbie group. We left to deflation point in a convoy where we deflated, had the safety briefing, setup the convoy and started the trip at 14:22 o’clock. We played in the Al Khatim area and midway through the drive we found a shaded area where we took a longer break. The kids enjoyed playing in the sand and the adults a nice chit chat to get to know each other. There was a lot of trash scattered around the trees and after cleaning some of it we then headed back towards the party camp. At this time my little passenger started feeling sick and marshal Flaghunter (Michal) took over the convoy lead. The convoy reached the party camp at 16:05.

Despite the long convoy and bushy area, all drivers did very well with only one stuck and a few second tries.
