Everyone met on time on a beautiful Saturday morning. We headed to Bu Tais gate where we deflated and took a fair bit of time for the briefing, since we had some first timers in the group.

We then started moving past the first sabhka and into the dunes. We took it nice and easy, enjoying the weather and taking frequent breaks. The convoy order was

- Flaghunter (Michal) - Lead
- PeggyPJ1 (Marie) - Second Lead
- Texashummer (Steve)
- asif.padela (Asif)
- jubakker (Abubakker)
- walzee (Waleed)
- The Baron (Rene) - Official Sweeper
- FALCON_83 (Hammad), iyad, and Marshal thompa-bjorka (Thomas) as support watchin the convoy from all sides

The first half of the trip was a newbie track eventually reaching big dunes in a safe manner. All drivers did extremely well so we also practiced a little bit of very basic side sloping.

We moved north of the sabkha for the second part of the trip into a technical area where we practiced straight cresting and recoveries of the Pajeros :)

We reached inflation point around 11:45. We covered around 42kms. It was a lovely morning, all drivers did very well and progress was visible throughout the drive. Thank you guys and special thanks to Marie, Hammad, Rene, iyad, and Thomas for your support! Until next time!

Nice drive, nice morning in a wonderful desert area, very suitable for all levels drives. Enjoyed. Thanks. Ans yes, all drivers did really well. Some recoveries of long wheel base Pajeros (cannot be avoided in technical areas with sharp crests :), which gave opportunities for recovery practise and some nice photos.
