It was a pleasant cloudy morning. All met on time at deflation point. We quickly deflated and moved onto the sand where I started the briefing. We went over the safety rules first and then focused on the theory of side cresting and DOs and DON'Ts. We then setup the convoy and headed out to play on the dunes. My second lead was Rene (The Baron), followed by Kamran (Kamran143), Ajesh (Billet), Christian (RedBaron), Kevin (petro), Mark (loefflmj1) and our honorable sweeper Michal (flaghunter).

We started with some side sloping and small side cresting while headed east. All drivers were showing good control and proper speed while driving on the crests. We then crossed the gatch road and progressed into side cresting over medium dunes. One of these higher dunes was turned into a practice playground where everyone practiced approach angles and necessary speed to safely get on and ride the crest. We then continued to play near and along the gatch road until the end of the trip at Gate 12 where we inflated.

All drivers did excellent and the only honors of recovery practice went to the trip lead and official sweeper.

Thanks a lot for making this happen. Great ride with great people on a lovely track. This was my first advanced drive and this gave me a lot of confidence.

The trip was a nice technical one and deliberately slow paced which allowed me to try different gear combinations and ranges.

All drivers did well.
