Trip Report Intermediates into Sweihan night 14 February

7 drivers met up at 5:30 PM at Sweihan BBQ deflation point:

Kamran143 (Kamran Khokhar, Intermediate)
Ishampn (Mohammed Isham, Intermediate)
Loefflmj1 (Maek Loeffler, Intermediate)

After briefing, convoy took off as the sun was setting, and when it was just about to go down behind the dunes we stopped to watch the beauty of desert sunset. At this point loefflmj1 was sweeper and Billet second lead. During the drive sweep and 2nd lead was swapped between loefflmj1, Billet and ishampn and at the last part of the drive, FALCON_83 was sweeping. The drive went steadily towards the Nagra dune, choosing an easy track. During the drive was had only few second tries and no single recovery needed, well done everybody.

When reaching Nagra, we went up the big dunes direction back towards BBQ point, here we made a break and could see all the way to Al Ain, Jebel Hafeet, which is probably 50 km away. From there we headed back in the dark navigating through the bigger dunes, this all went really well and at 8:30PM we were all safely back at the deflation point.

Was a very pleasant evening, enjoyed it. See you soon again.
