Al Khatim Newbies 29-12-2007 Trip Report

Thank you guys for a wonderful day-out 8)

People were great, weather was nice, food was delicious. Simply an excellent trip 8)

We were 10 cars today, we met @ 12 and reached our def. point @ 12:45. We drove for 3.5 hours, had our lunch, watched the sunset, and moved out by 5:45 :P Everyone did well today. Lucknow also showed great potential in leading today :wink:

Thanks Adiga for sweeping and taking special care of the Denali. Thanks everyone or coming.

Cheers Diver! Thanx for a bit of fun in the dunes there & a really great group!

As for food in the desert - what with sushi, espresso and lots of goodies all the others don't know what they missed!!!

Looking forward to seeing the pics - and am sure Adiga is too :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks DiVer for a fun filled day and Adiga for providing the group with good sweeping and entertainment. I missed not having my son in the car taking photos so only a few from me in the Gallery to view.
Land Rover: if you cant fix it with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Thanks to all for a nice afternoon out - three trips in three days - that will keep me satisfied until...well...at least next weekend!

Nice group of friendly and enthusiastic people, always makes for a nice trip.

Special thanks to Diver for sharing the lead and Adiga for sweeping (nice stuck, by the way!)

What happened in the desert should stay on the sand, we are not allowed to bring it to Abu-dhabi

Thank you all for the lovely afternoon out. Thanks to Diver for the great route which was new to me. Congratulations Lucknow to your new grade, well deserved, and thanks to Adiga for sweeping and the funny demonstration of stuck skills, just 8) what you can do with a newspaper :D

It was certainly the first time I've seen confetti in the desert??? Was it celebrating Adiga's marriage to that sand dune??? :D
