Surfing With Seamutt Jan11

[SEAMUTT]

In the end there was 4 starting the trip. Mood, Myself, Vader and Abdeen.
We met at 7:30 - well most of us at least - then headed to Hameen.

With just 4 of us we were able to get a nice warmup on the way to SSS (Seamutts Secret Surfing) area for some fun in the bowls. The insanely strong winds got worse to the point I was getting calls on the radio because my tracks were disappearing so fast we couldnt follow each other with safe distance. SO we dropped out of the high dunes and continued on in the lower areas reaching the gas road at 2:30.
Not done for the day we did some exploring on the tracks and followed the boarder and drove all the way around Qasr Al Sarab fenced area looking for new areas to play in the future.

Thanks everyone for a fun and windy trip! - Even if you were all comfortably sitting inside your vehicles with the windows up and missed the TRUE experience

it was good to see you all on your way back yesterday! It had been a long time i had seen Rick with such a smile!

It was my first trip to Liwa without being burned by the sun, i felt like the sun was a shy bride ... it didn't show at all ... so it was too cold, windy and sandy with limited visibility mostly on the top of the dunes but Seamutt managed to make it enjoyable and most important safe.

Not the best weather to be out in Liwa, as Seamutt mentioned the wind was pretty strong and visibility was terrible, it was difficult to judge terrain and the tracks were disappearing pretty quickly.

Having said that, driving with Seamutt & MooD is great and I had the pleasure of meeting and driving with Abdeen.

Very nice to see some of our Marshals on the drive back home
