Al Khatim Tough Newbie Trip Report 15-12-2007

Woww, A really fantastic trip today with great bunch of people 8) 8)

I was really impressed with everybody's performance today, 19 cars headed towards the new area in Al Khatim, finding their way between the huge dunes & engoying the scenery . After 3 hours of continous offroading, we rested in a beautiful area for lunch & snacks followed by another 45 minutes of driving in the sunset. We came out safely @ 5:45 PM with everybody smiling because of an enjoyable day-put before the holidays.

Thanks Adiga, Tamer & Rageh for efficient sweeping and recovery :bravo: . Thanks to everyone who joined today I really enjoyed your presence It was nice to C Abo Omar Joining in the last hour 8)

Wow, DiVeR you really raised the Marshalls Bar today. That route was just superb. We had a great time and this place should be explored some more.

Thank you very much indeed. My kids last day in Abu Dhabi was very well spent.

Folks, that was excellent today - had a ball Great driving, great scenery, and thanks to sweepers for pulling me out :bravo:

The Commander took a bit of a hammering though so don't be surprised if you see a new forum opening up with me looking for a new (2nd hand) toy. Particularly one that I don't feel so bad about if it gets a few knocks (me thinks Cherokee or Wrangler with a few years on it).

DiVer & all, thank you sooooo much for a day that was pure magic! Driving through those dunes was like poetry & definitely showcased the best I've seen of Al Khatim so far!

Great to meet even more new faces & great to get so much driving in!!!!

Hope you're keen to domore trips again soon!

Diver..The trip was a total blast....TOTALY AWSOME...the marshalling and sweeping sets a new standard of profesionalism. in fact from A-Z the trip was "TIP TOP" thanks to all.

The best was having my 2 boys on the trip with me to enjoy the ride.
