What a great start of the afternoon. with a large number of cars meeting at the ADNOC station in Al Faqaa. So many new faces that we had to run two Newbie trips. I will leave my fellow leaders post a report for the trips they also lead.

We all met at 1.30 pm and at 2 pm moved to the deflation point. By the time all deflated and decided of the groups we started the trip at 3 pm. Partial lead was Alaa from OffRoad House. Second Lead was Karam and official Sweeper Mr Oliver.

It was a great afternoon and not too hot. We had all the usually second tries and stucks which made it very interesting. At one point a member's car got 2 tires down so Abdel Qader who was supporting and me accompanied the member to the exit and brought the passengers back with us to continue having fun. On our way back we saw a lonely car stuck from local resident and decided to pull him out of his misery (spirit of AD4x4).

We ended the trip where we started at 5.45 pm with a nice sunset and a cool weather but with a bit of wind.

Great drive from the members and the ANITS. May I ask the ANITS to put their comments on this point and clearly state they were ANITS to get their first star with the club.

Before the drive we (ANITs) got a description of the club organization, grading system, followed by a small theoretical training about desert driving.
The drivers were divided three groups, our newbee group was lead by Alaa from the Offroad House. (his car is extremly modified car)
The track was not too long due to several second tries and stucking, but the area and the temperatura was amazing.
Finaly we left the desert at the same gate when entered, inflating and go home.
It was a nice afternoon, thank you!
