We all met on time and set off to the deflation point which was determined by the first stuck we encountered
Then with convoy order set we started the intermediate introduction to the area. What a great day practising skills on the high, wide and occasional technical dunes while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the desert.
By the time we reached the inflation point at 11am all the intermediate adventurers had grown in confidence and had honed their skills.
Thanks to all intermediate drivers for making the day fun and friendly, you all did very well in what can be a demanding area. Thanks to Jules for a solid second lead, Mira for her good communication as sweeper and for efficiently "unsticking" our few stucks of the drive. Huge thanks to Explorer Matt and Marshal Lee for watching us all and tirelessly assisting when advise and instruction was needed.
