Report - DXB - Sand to water - Fri 27 July pm

Post by Georges »

Lead Marshal: Georges

Part lead: Francis-F150

Marshal support: Pharaoh (Sweeper)

Great Intermediates:

Nessa
Bhav (second lead)

We all met on time at the petrol station and went to the Faqa village for deflation and safety brief. After leading the convoy for a short distance Francis-F150 took the lead towards Qudra lakes. It was a very nice track, well chosen with its challenges and fun areas. All followed really well with some second tries but no stucks or pop-outs. We almost encountered no one except few gazelles. We also had our usual stops for chit chats. We covered a little more than 80 km. When we arrived to the lakes it was just after 6.30 pm where we settled down and were able to watch the red moon rising.

Nessa you did very well knowing this was your first intermediate trip.

Bhav thank you for a good second lead.

Just a quick reminder to always control your speed when climbing a dune.

Thank you Francis for a great afternoon lead and a very nicely chosen track. Will be happy to support you again.

Thanks Pharaoh for joining and looking after the convoy at all times. A pleasure having you in my trips. Please continue :D

See you all next time in the sand.

Amazing trip with such a lovely group of people, really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you guys.

Thanks George for arranging this wonderful trip, and as usual reaching a very nice destination (Qudra lakes and witnessing the bloody moon eclipse). The pleasure is mine Bro, definitely I'll be there on the coming trip, you know I'm fan of your trips my friend.

Thanks Francis-F150 for the very well chosen track, it's a pleasure following you Bro ... looking forward for your next lead.

Bhav, it's always a pleasure to see you on the trips man. Solid second lead.

Nessa, considering it's your first intermediate trip and the technical areas we went through, you did great ... keep it up.

Thank you Marshal Georges for arranging this, by far, the longest, fastest and an excellently finished drive!

Thank you Francis and Khalid for your leadership, support and guidance.
