ABU SALLAF TO KHATIM-INTERMEDIATE-13/07-AM

Support: Khaiwi, Fadijoin, Bahhar, Bawi_6(part lead), Abuzaid, Abdul Qadir, Hani Shaheen, Abul3nood

Team:
Kharadly, Valkyrie, Afaq_aly, Luc, JeanPhi, Malqudah-45

Was 28 C at 06.30 when I arrived at the roundabout, at the entrance to the farms, where most members were already raising flags and deflating.
During the briefing informed the members of what to expect for the day -technical drive- and the terrain -medium technical dunes and rocky areas.
Convoy positions were assigned, with Bawi my second lead and Fadijoin my sweeper, all intermediates in the middle and the rest of support keeping an eye on the convoy from the sides.

As promised the area was technical with soft sand.
We practised straightcresting and climbs and more technical turns, while introduced small sidesloping and how to safely do it.
We had 5 (???) stucks and few second tries and a popout, which were all quickly fixed in team spirit.

Now feedback for the intermediates team:

Kharadly good control of your TJ, good momentum when crossing dunes, you tackled all technical spots with ease, I believe you re ready for the next level.
Jean-phi and Luc, welcome to the new level, your first trip was a technical one, however you re both mature drivers and with experience, all feedback during crossing straightcrests was taken aboard, keep it up and keep learning as every area has different beauties, and enjoy safely.
Afaq_aly I hope you enjoyed your first summer months trip, good driving and car control, keep it up.
Valkyrie and Malqoudah-45, good comunication, you ve managed to cross the technical route with your long wheelbase cars, proper momentum and steering in order to climb through soft parts of sand, overall very good driving I am very happy from you.

First of all, thank you Violetta for organizing the trip, I really enjoyed my first time in Abu Sallaf.

I enjoy the technical areas very much and the trip had more than plenty to satisfy.
