Trip Leaders met all drivers at the meeting point, where everyone showed up on time (thank you guys), then they moved to the deflation point where I met them there.
After deflation, I did the ANIT briefing then our Trip Leaders did the safety briefing and convoy set up.
We started off with FidoDido leading the convoy Khaled his second lead and Frankie as the Official Sweeper, myself and Francis-F150 were looking after the convoy from the back and side.
FidoDido took us through a very nice technical area for the drives to warmup and get to feel their cars in the sand. Followed by Francis-F150 lead, taking us on a sand cruise through the magical huge dunes of Sweihan till we reached Nughra, FidoDido his second lead and Khaled joined me to look after the convoy. Then on our way back Khaled took the lead, Francis-F150 his second lead and FidoDido as side sweeper, in a very smooth and enjoyable track Khaled finished the trip at our inflation point.
Leading a convoy of 15 cars is not an easy job, but this wouldn't be possible without our great Newbie & ANIT drivers who all did an extremely amazing drive, the convoy was moving smoothly with only couple of second tries and only one stuck, well done guys I'm really proud of every one of you.
Marshal Karam, it was nice having you with us on the trip.
It was an amazing morning spent with awesome people, I really enjoyed my time. Thank you for joining the trip, I hope everyone enjoyed it.
Thanks for the Trip Leaders who gave us a wonderful track with different flavours, great Team Work.
I'd like to have the feedback of our Newbie & ANIT drivers on the Trip.
Trip Leaders, please share your trip experience here.
Trip Photos will be posted on AD4X4 Facebook page, you can check them out.
See you all soon on the dunes
