Small group of people including one intrepid kia drive met up on time in sweihan, where the winds had died down and the conditions were just right for a little foray into the desert.

Two LCs, Two Cherokees, Two Jeeps, a Kia and an X made for a nice group and lovely afternoon in the sand.

All did really well with our Kia beating all expectations, well done Niel.

After a nice morning drive with Grizzly, it was fun to end the day with a lovely Newbie trip with Waqmaster.

The group all met on time, headed out into the dunes of Sweihan, and had fun.

The wind had died down, so this was good - not sure how much more sand my Jeep could hold!!

Everyone did really well, and our real Newbie (beebs) did amazingly. Great attitude and determination in the Kia, which I am sure at one point was as happy as we all were when he finally got to the top of the dune! That climb was tricky, but with great guidance and a strong will, beebs got there in the end.

Waqar provided a good track for all to follow, with plenty of moments for everyone to practice their skills, and learn some new ones - of course, all under the guiding of Waqar and Scotchyl, with importance on safety paramount at all times.

Nice second lead from Shozn and good convoy from Silence, Berho and Desert_storm.

Thanks for making my first day back in the sand for a while a good one. Will not forget the huge happy grin on beebs face when he did that climb!

Waqar, this has to be one of the best trips I have been on. I think the smiles at the end of the trip were a true reflection of the enjoyment and satisfaction of all.

it was great to see everyone grow in confidence and skill and a special mention to the Kia (Neil). you really showed how it can be the driver not the car. you did so well alongside the more powerful cars and matched like for like with them, excellent work. I think you enjoyed the top of the dune.

Always a pleasure to drive with a nice group of people and keep up the good work. the sand is getting softer so take care in the tracks.
