The other 7 cars made it, and we all hit the sand at 3:15, after a briefing emphasizing on the importance of seat belts, items securing, and discussing my plan for the day.
I cannot say that the trip was fast, yet it was very technical, and I'm sure I gave some hard time for the cars behind me. We had a good number of stucks and 2 pop outs. The plan included the drivers to do the recovery, and they did it.
We were able to reach al khatim on time just before sunset.
