Driving to the meeting point in the dark but clear sky was somehow early. The surprise started on the way to the deflation point when I discovered the fog – no sun.

The fog could not stop us from deflating the tires and once everybody had released sufficient air from the lower part of tire we decided to start with a blind driving stage. All went quit well with the usual stuff until I found a “nasty but technically challenging pass through”. As a result I was able to demonstrate an “advanced pop out”. And this was a new experience for everybody.
It was not enough with the tire detaching from the rim – no, the tire valve also said good bye to the dedicated hole in the rim it was stuck in. The fun here was to fill the hole first and then pop the tire in again.

After this pit stop the drive was smooth and we reached Ali’s Ghaf Tree Coffee shop in a good time. We all deserved the break and relaxed for a while until the calmness was broken by vrombissant engines and finally Grizzly and his group parked around the tree.
It seemed they had an important appointment because they rushed away only after a short stop. But anyway it was good to see you guys.

We continued our drive with a detour to the Camel farm and back into the dunes where a disturbing passenger or inattentive driver caused another stuck. The recovery attempt caused another recovery with a simultaneous pop out. But as the group already had an advanced pop out to fix, this task was just like normal routine.

Well this was the last “challenging exercise” for the day. The way back to civilisation was sooth again and with 3 minutes delay we reached our destination.

It was an interesting trip with good company and great people.

Hey Urs, it was great to meet you and the group....we heard about the Pop Out and could'nt believe our ears....

We had a fun to achieve, to reach Al Ain Airport which we did with about 8 minutes to spare ...qudos to Hani's lead... we had a wonderful time.

Hope to go out early in the morning with you next trip ie if MOI takes time out from Mall Shopping

Thanks Urister for a great trip. I learned a lot in some challenging new situations with excellent company.
Thanks also to Todd, Alberto and Heintz for the help with getting my car out a couple times at least.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in the desert (as soon as i get my car fixed).
