not true. A lifting strap should not be used for recovering when energy needs to be dissipated in the elasticity of the snatch strap.

Lifting strap should be used to tow on the road though, more resistant, and no impact involved. Or you will destroy your recovery strap which will be burned on the road by abrasion.

Now a load, vertical or horizontal, is still the same load :lol:
