Got it already. Way better than the NT v4.
Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

So far there is no update from V4 to V5. We will be selling the Garmin 276C and SP 7500 with these pre-installed. The price for the 276C will be 2690 including 256 memory card. The maps alone will be sold for 540 dirham (1 user license)

xof, I understand the frustration but I think most of us have had to suffer this... I've managed to do it with 2 GPS's!!!

Try to grin & bear it.....

In any case - you can stay with V4 for as long as you think fit... it's not going to 'stop' working. My gripe has always been that there are no updates available between new editions - so it's never truly current anyway. Given the pace of change over here - I wish that was something Garmin would provide. The way I see it - the approx. 540AED is basically an annual 'subscription' to staying current...which is a bit of an ouch - but which I also don't have a better alternative to. 8)
I like life "sunny side up

Which makes AD a great place to be.....!!

I had my 276C around 2 years ago & i had it on the invoice from the agent that i will get 2008 map for free & i went back they refused to upload it & i Sc***d the guy

My V4 is working just fine till now 8) You are not in a hurry to get the 2008 one. Moreover, 2008 map is useless in Dubai :?

Well I have tried the 2008 version and it is not that good actually. There are still quite a lot of R/A and roads that are incorrect.
