Wolf Tuning

Post by WolfTuning »

Hi Guys,

Just got referred here by Chafik ( Thank you sir for the referral and Kind Words ) ,here is some Info about us, we are in business for some time now. I am the owner of the shop and have a hands on approach so I deal personally with most of my customers. As far as parts go I insist on original parts . This is my hobby and passion first then a business second so reputation is key. We don't offer installs as I believe if you can't do it perfectly then don't bother. And as most of you might have gathered from Experience , good Labour is Almost Impossible to find here. So I'm sticking with selling parts only. I do most of my work at the local dealerships as I believe they are the lesser of two evils. Moving ON, I stock most of my parts to give customers a chance to sample the goods ( if you may ) rather than viewing something on a website. Like I said this is a hobby first and I had the unfortunate chance to get dissappointed / ripped off when dealing over the internet. Having said that , most of my stock is catered towards sports cars . But in terms of 4x4s I do offer Tuning for GM Trucks , handhelds for Ford , Chryslers ( not jeeps - yet ) . I also have Tonneau Covers in stock for GM Trucks. Also have Catbacks / Intakes for some GM Trucks and Fjs. Besides that, if its not in stock I can always order it for you. In terms of pricing , I try to keep pricing as fair as possible but understand it is a business so I need to make some profit . I also offer a price match policy to keep things competitive. I am also official Nitto Tire Dealer and can offer you guys good deals . Never hurts to ask me for a quote

If in doubt always ask I say. Everyone is welcome to visit my shop in Dubai. Its a gearhead haven I've been told so come and Check it out for yourselves and tell me if its true. You can also see my ïnsane diecast collection
Oh yeah , since its 2010 , I also have a BlackBerry. Here is my PIN 215F3538
Actually I have two lol . Forgot to mention that I am also a gadget / techno freak Also do some serious video gaming.

P.S. Im not sure if this forum has an authorised vendor section. Admins / Mods if it does , could you please give me details.

Cheers,
Nabil

Hi Nabil, you wouldn't happen to have some of these products listed below, specifically Radiator Additives for petrol engines that help in lowering running temps.

Thanks Jo.

G-man,

Don't waste your money with Cooling Additives. They do nothing in our temps. The solution for our temps is a bigger Aluminium radiator period . Also don't bother with thermostats . Another waste of time. If you still feel uncomfortable with temps after install of a bigger radiator then FAL fans are your best friend. But know this , there is a limit to how cool you can run. You are after all in a desert ;) . And Hot air is HOT air .

Cheers,
Nabil

Hi Nabil, thanks for the reply. The reason I was looking for the additives was on the recommendation of some of the foreign racers in the Desert fun Rally.

Getting a bigger rad was my first choice, but no space in the engine bay unless I start cutting and shifting stuff around. for now I've got a new rad + wired the both electric fans to work together with a manual switch without the need for the AC to be on, and lifted the back end of the bonnet for extra venting, and got rid of the thermostat, and new cylinder head. This worked last summer, but driving slowly between dunes or in traffic jams, I still had to keep an eye on the temp gauge while the AC was on.

Strangely enough, last year I tried a suggestion of a friend by bolting the engine fan/clutch solid so it runs at max speed possible, which worked very well but was so noisy, sounded like a jet engine taking off every time a revved. Got a new fan 2 days later.

Now another guy is suggesting I completely remove the engine fan assembly and plastic shroud off the inside of the rad and get a couple of Maxima electric fans fixed to the back of the rad.

Sorry for the late reply , DO NOT remove the Shroud. Its there for a reason. We tried removing the shroud on a Corvette a long time ago and guess what ? Temps actually went up !
